At School Street Tutoring Co. we aim to personalize every session to meet the needs of our students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is highly flexible and meticulously designed to work closely with the student, not only to efficiently complete their daily tasks, but also to provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout their learning journey.

Story
Ben Coonan | Owner & Educator
Ben has 10 years of experience tutoring students across various subjects. His most recent role was at an elite private school in Holderness, New Hampshire. There, he tutored high school students in math (Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, AP Calculus), science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and humanities (English composition, Spanish, French, History), focusing on executive skill-building. He has a talent for making challenging topics accessible to students who are struggling.

Ben holds a BA from Beloit College, where he triple majored in Japanese Language and Culture, Russian Language and Literature, and Pre-Medicine. Additionally, he has a JD from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. Currently Ben is a Professor of Practice at Plymouth State University. In his spare time, he enjoys playing chess, baking with his children and hiking in the White Mountains.
